Clay Reese focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters, real estate development work (including master planned developments), leasing, estate and probate, corporate transactions and general business and employment matters.
Mr. Reese obtained his BBA in Finance, magna cum laude with General Honors, from the University of Georgia in 1982 and his J.D. degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. Mr. Reese worked in private practice in Atlanta for 15 years prior to stepping away for a five year period to assume the role of general counsel and chief operating officer for a national industrial development firm based in Atlanta. Mr. Reese went back into private practice in 2005 and helped form the firm of Moore & Reese, LLC, in January, 2008.
Mr. Reese has been involved in numerous civic and professional activities including service as a board member and as the former Treasurer, Vice President and President (1999-2000) of the DeKalb Bar Association, service as a board member and past Chairman (1996-1997) of the Board of Directors of the Decatur-DeKalb YMCA, as a former member of the Business and Professional Development Committee of DeKalb Medical Center, service as a former officer and board member of A.R.T. Station, Inc., as a member of Cliff Valley School, Inc. and as a member of the Community Advisory Board of the Junior League of DeKalb County. He has also volunteered his time as a youth baseball and soccer coach. He is a graduate of the 1992 class of Leadership DeKalb and is a former member of the Stone Mountain Rotary Club.
Mr. Reese is married to Susan Rohrabaugh Reese and they have two children.
